Saw some interesting fences today. The one in the photo at the bottom looks to be quite old. Ate a snack with a tobacco farmer at a convenience store. It was fun talking agriculture. The big crops in Kentucky are tobacco, corn, soybeans, and winter wheat. Ran into two riders going the other way - one was retired from Houston. The second one was a young guy from San Diego. Tonight I am in Berea. This is a much larger city than what I have ridden through for a long time. Lots of places to eat, but I hate the traffic.
I will be taking at least one day off, maybe two. I am having issues with a knee. I hope some rest will help. In general, feeling good. Til next time.

  1. Ask 'em if good fences really make good neighbors. That will make for good conversation while you recovr.
